It is a true testament to his abilities that the 911 has remained more or less the same car for 50 years to the day he originally penned it. It's very hard to think of any other designer that achieved this feat. Most designs go out of date within 10 years, but the truly timeless design of the 911 is still living.
RIP to a man who truly deserves to be called a Master.
