Tips goes shopping... (964ts)
Tips went to a relatives garage to have a look at a car that they have for sale, and WOW what a car... too bad the photos are not that great...
To my understanding there are only 80 examples of these and 60something are LHD... this one has less that 500km on the clock and looks stunning
If any one is interested please PM Tips so he can put your through to the owner... sorry but I placed it here and not in the market place section because it is pure sex
The company its keeping at the moment...
What is this?

The '92 Turbo S can be summed up in 1 equation. RS+Turbo = '92 3.3 Turbo S.
From the outside the differences are: Front bumper chin spoiler is different and slightly deeper, ducts in front bumper instead of foglights, ducts on the rear 1/4 panels. The spoiler is probably the most unique feature. It's a 1-piece composite whale tail with a fatter base to fit over the intercooler, and it's painted body color instead of the standard tea-tray that has the wrap-around lip on 3 sides in hard black plastic. Some of the cars had cursive writing down the rocker panel that read "Supercar Champion" and a little Porsche silhouette with "IMSA" written below it as a tribute to the 964 winning that series championship. This was also the first 964 to wear the Speedline for Porsche 3-piece wheels. All other 3.3 cars were fitted with the Cup 1 wheels.
The cars have a carbon kevlar hood, aluminum doors, lightweight interior carpetwith either airbag wheel or "930S" wheel (depending on market) and came with the same Recaro seats that Porsche put in the 964 Speedster. No backseats. Some cars came with a rollbar.
The result was 180kg in weight savings and the engine was tuned to 381hp instead of the standard 320 with some suspension parts from the RS and motorsports dept.
Like Hani said, only 80 built, none for US market.
