Here's another one for sale in the USA. I called about this one...they are asking 450k. It has 16k kms, and is a comfort version.
I found out that the US EPA certification was done by Wallace Labs out of Houston. This is significant because its my understanding that they did not alter the original sequential turbo setup, unlike Bruce Canepa who switches the original sequential setup to a conventional twin turbo setup.
The downside to Canepa is that you lose the original setup...the upside is that Canepa's cars are making about 550hp ! They are very solidly done and priced accordingly (500k+).
Here is the car currently for sale at Motor Classic and Competition in White Plains NY.

In this way, its obvious why the 959 has such a loyal following...its a significant car even for non-porsche fans. It is somewhat spartan in comparison to the almost space age design and construction of the CGT, but still manages to evoke passion, which is the name of the game.
In some ways, its like comparing the F40 to the Enzo...quite a few Ferrari fans would pick the F40 over the Enzo....its a very similar analogy.
Personally, if I had to choose between the two, I would opt for the CGT...spend any amount of time with it, study it in detail, drive it and experience the sounds...and its tough to top it with a head to head comparo to anything.
