Porsche Book collector’s edition Porsche Book & The Ultimate Limited Edition Photo Print
"German luxury publisher teNeues is coming out with the ultimate collectors item for Porsche enthusiasts: a $3,000 limited edition book on the famed sports car marque accompanied by a signed and numbered photographic print. The Porsche Book collector’s edition, limited to only 50 copies, features the world’s most beautiful Porsche images, either taken or selected by photographer and graphic designer Frank M. Orel in collaboration with the Porsche Museum team in Stuttgart, Germany with an eye toward both “passion and perspective”.
For the past 12 years Orel has produced award-winning calendars for Porsche, and he is the editor of two other volumes dedicated to the legendary marque: Generation Porsche and Porsche Icons. The enormous volume features 24 chapters containing over 200 incredible full-color photographs. It spans the full measure of Porsche’s illustrious history from road cars to rare racers. Hilarious comment on Amazon....
As a Porsche fanatic, anything that displays the name Porsche on it - gets reviewed several times before purchase.
Unfortunately, this book is a recent addition to the material normally found on the Amazon shelves.
So in haste, I purchased before waiting to read the reviews.....
As a Coffee book, it's Big, Glossy and full of colorful images. Represents some quality photographs of the 'Greatest Marque'. However, after that it gets stuck.
The book is neither a READ nor a usable reference, even for images.
Other books better represent the Marque and unless it's for display only. Save your money!
In summary this the '924' or '914' of Porsche Literature.
