^^ Do you have a 4 or a 6?

I think I've seen a picture of yours before, it's white right?

I thought it looked pretty good.

it is white... been debating on a big for or a short stroke six... couldnt justify spending 10 large on a 6 swap... so we will settle for around 125whp... not bad for 1800 lbs.

^^ Ya that's a lot for a little car like that. You could turbocharge the four for around 1k. That will give you a bit more get up and go.

I did some research and I didn't know it was so far fetched. I've seen turbo kits fro sale, and assumed it could work. But I'm sure you know better, considering the top of the line turbos you guys make.

I'm guessing the only way to get a turbo engine in a 914 is a swap?

people have built h4 and h6 turbo 914s... but it truly isnt the way people really look to get power in the cars... traditionally it is either a big 4 build or a 6 swap.

Oh I see. Even though the f6 swap costs around 7-10k, it increases the value quite a bit. On 914 club I saw someone who swapped a 986 Boxster engine and tranny into his 914. As far as I know there are only two 914s with Boxster engines.
