A little 928 GTS love....

Recently I upgraded the suspension on my 1995 928 GTS to Bilstein/Eibach coilovers (set the ride height a bit lower than stock), mounted 19" SE Cup 4s, installed red calipers/drilled rotors, installed an x-pipe, tinted all the windows, added rear wheel arch extensions (available on Japanese and Swiss 928s only) and did a short throw shifter.

I have fallen in love with the car all over again. I have owned this car twice. Bought it originally back in 2000 with 8k miles and sold it in November 2007 only to buy it back in March of 2009. To my delight the guy I sold it to put less than 100 miles on the car while he owned it. The mileage is currently at ~12,800 and I feel quite fortunate to have the car back as it is one of the finest 928s in existance.

Hope you enjoy the pics:

I am a rare parts addict and love the wheel arches.

Any interior shots? Cool ownership story.

Thanks guys. I've had 5 different looks (3 diff styles) over the years. The 993tt wheel is on too many 928s and really dates the cars in my opinion. Not a fan of that look.....

Beautiful car. I want one myself. had a 86.5, black on black 5 speed, 50k miles and always regretted selling it

Thanks Harvey! Here's a couple older interior shots although except for different floor mats it looks the same:

....and a couple of the red brake/drilled rotor install - wheel well shots:

Blue painters tape still on the shock to remind me which way to turn the adjuster to raise the car..... 3 full turns and done!

That's gorgeous, Chuck! I can't believe you've been able to keep such low miles on it! I'd be driving that beauty every chance I got!

Wow, that is clean. Never really been a fan of the 928, but yours is the exception. Looks great!
