However that would make the Cayman RS faster than the Carrera. Not going to happen

What's all this yap over the Cayman RS ??

I didn't render the Cayman Spyder because well, it's the Boxster Spyder with Cayman fascias, the Carrera GTS is all optional equipment for the Carrera S (except widebody/centerlocks), so that leaves the 997 Speedster. Here it is!

Here is a list of standard equipment:
Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB)
Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM)
Porschedoppellkuplungsgetriebe (PDK)
Speedster Humps
X51 Carrera Powerkit (408hp)
Exclusive Built, Limited 100 Units
Maritime Blue/Carrara White/Paint to Sample
2 Seater
Manual Roof
Widebody
Short Windshield

Equipment my render is optioned with:
Clear Glass Taillights
Stone Grey Interior
Standard Seats

What more do you need? It pretty much comes completely optioned. My guess is there will be no options list and the cars will be pretty much all the same. I'm (also) pretty sure there will be an options list considering Paint to Sample will be an option. I'm confusing myself so I'm going to stop blabbing and let you admire the render. Enjoy

I'm taking color requests for the 997 Speedster, and criticism

PM me if you want the 1920x1200 full sized image.

UPDATE:
The rennlist poster said (for the Cayman Spyder), a Spyder type car. Not an actual Spyder. So, now, expect renders of that car tomorrow. It will be a Cayman coupe, just very light an minimalistic just like the Boxster Spyder. Basically a Boxster Spyder coupe. I think I'll call it the Porsche Cayman 550.

Feels like Porsche is just pumping out new special editions to keep the 997 alive for the last 12 months.

I do not understand the need for a Speedster, a lightweight Convertible, Speedster humps, lower windshield, only 2 seats, and a manual roof. Hmm doesn't that remind me of something? - WAAAIT it's the Boxster Spyder! Here with additional weight and extra HP to make up for it. For the price of 200k.
Nah, I think I'll pass. Never really liked the 911 Speedsters anyway.

Carrera GTS sounds interesting though, and a bit more reasonably priced. Give me a light silver one with the black Fuchs wheels, Sport Classic style, mix it up with Carrera Red interior and GT2 seats and we've got a winner!
