I;d watch it that race too. For mini to win this, it would have to a very tight road course. Otherwise, Porsche should slaughter.

I don't think Porsche will accept, so there probably won't be a race anyways.

I had an '08 Mini S for a DD, which I recently sold. Great little car, so I'm not hating, but Mini=everything to gain, Porsche=everything to lose in this competition. Why should they take the challenge?

That's the reason I do not think Porsche will accept, they have nothing to win. Even if they win, it's still not a big deal - after all everyone would expect them to. And if they lose, well that's just plain sad as far as PR goes.

Mini is already winning, if Porsche does not accept they can go with the whole "they were scared of the MINI" thing, print t-shirts and profit..

I have an '09 MCS as a DD.

The Porsche will get him off the line, the MINI won't be able to make up ground.

If Porsche looses though, that's embarrassing.
