Anybody on here going?

2010 Hershey Swap Meet

I've gone the last 4 years, it's amazing to see 1000 Porsches in one parking lot.

 

We will be there... Be sure to come by and say hello.

 

I'm going.

 

I got there at 1:30 and I was disappointed. There were hardly any Porsches there. However, I did get I ride in a turbocharged 516hp 2004 Porsche 911 GT3 converted to an RS. The multitude of badges in the rear read "Turbo GT3 RS". It was meteor grey metallic with a 996 Cup spoiler, the feeling of that car flat out is amazing. I'll post some videos later.

 

Really, not that many cars there? Was it the weather, how was the swap meet, plenty of stands?

I was in freaking Harrisburg for the weekend for my girls' gymnastics meet Sunday morning. We were looking for something to do Saturday, and I even went to the Hershey Park website and found out that they were closed. I didnt see any mention of this on their site. I wish I had known...

it was actually really busy but everyone always leaves around 1pm. we got there right at 8, got some good deals

 

Here are some pictures and a video of a 996 911 GT3 converted to an RS by IMA Motorsports, then given a single Turbo to produce 516hp at the rear wheels, and can reach 160mph... In 4th. In the video he didn't have enough space to get out of 2nd, but it sure pulled. It originally had 328hp at the rear wheels, so a 188hp gain! It was very very fast. Sorry for the picture quality, and the lack of them. There were like no where near as many Porsches as described. It had to have been the time of day.
