1985 911 Carrera 0 miles?

This is more than likely a repost, but I'm not afraid of the flame.

That 0 mile would border on impossible. The lowest I have seen in 13 years at the dealership was 8. The cars are driven on and off the railcar and boat, to the transport truck etc. Can't see the miles to be correct. That and why would you want a Brown Turbo anyways?

I saw 4 miles on a 09 C2S. But then the Odo's are set to -10 or 8 miles when new so they can track the car and seat the brakes.

But that car is awesome! ^^^

I've heard this before with other car brands, do you know how long Porsche has been doing it?

That's probably why it has zero miles.

Not sure; but when getting Certified back when we 1st got the franchise I was surprised to find this out. They take the car up to 90% of it's top speed and SLAM on the brakes to about 50mph no less then 25 times.

Cool stuff.

I am very sceptical of the mileage on air cooled cars, or any car with analog odo even. I replaced the gauge on my P-car and all I had to use to set the miles correctly on the new one was a pencil. If I had been MacGyver I would have been able to change it with my mind.

Maybe it's been pushed everywhere?

It may also mean 0 miles since restoration.

I remember seeing an ad in dupont registry for some old aston vantage that had like 2 miles.

I am sure it has a few on the clock as this is just for the purpose of an ad, but I would love to have this in the garage!

Ok curiosity got the best of me so i had to call on the car...
Story is this was Fred Bakers personal car and this is now sold, it had 11k orig mile on the clock and for some reason the PCNA website had the miles incorrectly displayed.
Still a great find folks!
