Porsche 918 Spyder Concept - Geneva Motor Show
"We hate to go back to the well-used well on this one but we have no choice: The Porsche 918 Spyder Concept is even hotter in person than it is in photos. About the size of a Boxster, it's a little wider and a lot meaner. Underneath all that sharkness you get a 500-horsepower V8 in addition to 218 overall horsepower from the two axle-mounted electric motors. And that will get you to 60 in 3.2 lickety-split seconds as well along with the feelgood factor of 94 mph. How badly do we want this car made? Have a read of the press release after the jump and the gallery of high-res photos below while we think about it... but it starts with "OMG so @#$&! want...""

Beautiful in every angle and every way. They NEED to build this car. Or at least some sort of derivation of it. They NEED to inject some of this design philosophy to their range of automobiles.

Where is this a repost, I dont see!
The microsite is here: Porsche Intelligent Performance.*The next spark.
I really LOVE this car and would trade in my Turbo in a heartbeat for it. I have a suspicion though that it would cost at least as much as a Carrera GT

Have to say that I find this car extremely sexy and if it was up to me I'd say this should be the new Porsche GT. Shame though we'll probably never see it on the streets, but lets hope Porsche's designers take a few cue's from this concept and bring them in to the possble new GT replacment.

Well if thats the case they will probably build less than 50 at that price. My guess is $300-$400k.
