This 993 was driving on the Spa-francorchamps track in the summer of 2009. I think it's a GT2, but that nose isn't really like it should be. Does anyone has more info about this car?

 

Shame on them if that car began life as a real GT2

That's pretty mega awesome. Gemballa used to be so badass...

 

It has a sunroof, so highly unlikely it started life as a GT2.

Anyway, that is known as the Gemballa Extremo.

This is now my friends bosses car, as mentioned in the post above its a very rare car and is a complete Gembella GTR 600 conversion with only 5 ever being produced based on a brand new 993 turbo (not surprisingly considering the price of the conversion). Car looks amazing in the flesh, is very quick indeed and as far as i'm aware has been really reliable.

Been told the conversion cost was around £170K!

 

Yes, hope you don't mind as I remember them when I was dribbling over the F40 thread and the only ones I could lay my hands on short term.
