Spent Christmas at the in-laws home near Stuttgart, which seemed the ideal time to drag the family around the Porsche Museum! I'm sure there have been plenty of pictures posted before from the museum, but as the cars are changed regularly, I thought these may be of interest to a wider audience...

It is an amazing day out - everyone had a great time (from my 3 year old son, to my 65 year old father-in-law) and I spent a small fortune in the museum shop on a complete library of Porsche books...

No more shots of the Rothmans I'm afraid, but there were some sunning 917's on display...

 

I guess it's safe to say that you had the best christmas among TSers . . .

Same for me - I've been promising myself that I would go when I first saw them building it, but this was the first time I actually managed to go... Looking forward to my next visit now.

Been there twice this year.... Great museum and one of the best I have seen so far. I am not a Porsche lover, but it is really to see the superb line-up of vehicles. I do think there is more heritage then they show....

I loved the text next to the Carrera GT... Something about the car being really save and so on blablablabla... I just mention one URL: Wreckedexotics.com... PLease porsche look at it and read back the text.
