Sloan Cars

Found this website while clicking around on the Internets and thought I would share. These guys have an incredible inventory of low mileage used/classic Porsches. However, I think some of their prices are pretty rediculous (e.g., $81K for an '89 Speedster; $185K for a '97 TurboS; $70K for a '98 993 C4S). Worth checking out though. Lots of pieces of history on the site.

Yeah, Richard Sloan's been around for a while. Most of the cars are not in inventory, they're on consignment. Pretty much all of his cars are just as described and usually just get passed around between collectors.

Another good source is RPM. http://rpmsportscars.com/

I think the speedster is one of the coolest looking cars thats been around the block. I have had dreams of doing something a little kooky with one for a while (Jerry Sienfelds 1 of 2 993 speedsters also calls my name, just not in boring silver).

Sloan has some nice examples for sure though

Richard is an attorney and has always had some fine examples of used Porsches. I think he must have some close associate lawyers that are collectors and that is how he got started in the consignment or Porsches!!
