The way I see it Porsche have a finite amount of years with the Carrera the flat six's maximum displacement is 4.0L and they're currently at 3.8L. Porsche have perfected and honed the Carrera over the past 40 years with the engine in the wrong place doing everything humanly possible to counter act having the engine resting on the rear axle. With the current generation Boxster/Cayman being offered with a limited slip diff it'll only be a matter of time until the mid-engined Porsche becomes the flagship with the 911 demoted to playing second fiddle. Having said that this concept would fit in nicely as a small light mid-engined car. I hope styling is inspired by the 356 but in reality it'll be the 914 succesor

Why? It's almost exactly like the Boxster.
