930 refers to the Turbo, anything pre 964 was just considered the Type 911. Its okay though, I've made the same mistake before, and that's an excellent shot! Maybe we should start a Classic 911 thread?

drknauf, did that car have white or gray interior? there was one in STL for sale with white guts, but i think it went to Canada?? never mind, thats a Euro car in your post...

 

Is all what you said mean that it is a turbo 3.6, or is there some more special about that car I am ignorant of?

world wide there are over 6000 porsches 965 turbo with a 3.3 litre engine and world wide there are only 1437 with a 3.6 litre engine


the 3.6 engine had over 520 nm torque


even the 3.3 turbo S leichtbau didn,t have that much torque, only 490 nm only built 88 world wide


and the normal 3.3 turbo without S had even less only 355 nm


so the 965 turbo 3.6,s are rare to me, i find them collectors items like a 964RS, and also they are the one and only real BAD BOYS Porsche offcourse

Thanks for the clarification, I just wasn't sure if there was anything else going on with the one you posted. I agree, turbo 3.6 is neck and neck with turbo s flatnose for my favorite 911.

 

Found this 964 Turbo 3.6 in London further down the street i lived on.
Saw it last year when i was there too and it seems like its not been moved at all, its really dirty. Shame shame..
