That's amazing. Anyone know the car in the first picture on the stand that says 1947? I think I'm in love.

Maybe this is what they did while their factory was closed for a week due to poor sales . . .

It looks amazing!!!

I visited the museum in 1992 and loved how unpretentous and grass roots it was, but this new one looks pretty cool.

The reason that I have a 928 is because I watched a video on building a 928 at the museum when I was 12 and it stuck with me. The Mercedes museum down the street was pretty high tech, but it looks like the Porsche Museum will out modernize it.

Those wheels didn't come out till late 1988.
Good eyes DJ, but I bet that car has a story behind it, like it was give to Ferry Porsche for his birthday and was a prototype or something.

When I was there, one of my favorite cars was a 914 with a Porsche v8 that was given to one of the Porsche's on his birthday. I believe it was one of two made and the one in the museum had wider headlights without the eyebrows that porsche 914s have.
