In the Eye of the Beholder!!

I gotta agree with minid here, the owner ruined a perfect, low-milage 930. Gotta ditch the Strosek/964 kit, put the stock Turbo wing and mirrors back on and strip the paint and reanodize the door handles. Oh yeah, needs to go back to factory fuchs asap.
At least the quality of the aftermarket work looks to be pretty high.

As someone who's done a ton of 930 shopping over the years, in a word, I would say..."eeeew".
But...to each his own.
Btw, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with mod'ing a 930T, I just have never seen a design I liked from Strosek. Some might say the same about a DP car, a Ruf, a Kremer, but I like some of the older modified cars. Style is very subjective for sure.
I really dislike when someone puts body parts on to change the era look of the car. With one exception. There are a few people who have back-dated '80s 911s to '70s RS look pretty successfully as an homage. I suppose the thing that rubs me wrong is particularly when someone puts *newer* era body panels on an older car. Wrong on many levels, and also a shame to lose some of the character that comes with an older design, in my opinion.
I almost bought two different 930T's a couple years back, and both were pretty heavily mod'ed, but both also retained most of the original look without adding distracting aesthetic details. And most importantly, both had seriously built motors. I'm going back in that direction within the next two years.

I really like how you critique everything I say on here. It is hideous.
