i'd say low 100's. i had a perfect zenith blue car, same kind of miles. was bot and sold at highs of last year in the 103 range.
a 40k mile blk blk (while significantly higher miles) sold for 78, needing 10k in work.
point is, once over that 7 to 10k mileage range, while it barely scratches the surface of the durability of that engine/the car, it does though impact the collectibility of the car, and after all, thats why you pay a premium for the S model over a regular 993Turbo.
i dont see it moving at 129. 119 more interest. 109 maybe, low 100s yes.

^Just checked out your site.
I took a look at that Zenith car and don't believe it to be a very good comparison. The color is beautiful, but the interior is a bit tough on the eyes with two different shades of leather and then all that carbon fiber thrown in. A unique car for sure though.
If you don't mind sharing, I'm curious what the silver 600-mile car brought.
I have a guards red on black one that I will be looking to sell for a customer of mine in the near future. It's a 7K mile car. This mkt has made everything on a car by car basis, the client and myself have been discussing putting it up for similar money as the black car that is the subject of this thread.

the zenith wasnt my personal favorite either but there lot sof passionate 993 lovers that kill for that color. i had zero trouble selling it in a heart beat. also that interiior also shows washed out as i have a amateur flash digital camera. but yeah, the two color combos were not ideal. but lets also give it some perspective,...this is when blk blk 5k mile cars were 160 to 180,now, 30, 40 down from there.
the 600miler i still own and have turned away offers of 200, 205 a few times. its one of my favorite, you cant get nicer.
your red with 7k miles at 129 would be cheap. i think its a color and miles thing. noone cares about the options on these cars; some have carbon others have little. but other than that, all acceptable unless they have sport seats in which case yo ucould add 5 to 10k.
but the curve isnt flat. the cars with under 8,9k get a premium , big time, if the right color. if not the right color, u get something. then as th emiles go up over 10, it really fades fast. again, you get a bump for blk, for artic. a hit for zenith, etc.
there was also an Iris blue 22k mile car that sloan had which was gorgeos, went for that same money. and the 40k mile ca rthat went for sub 80, not 180 but 80.
if you're looking to sell a guards 7k miler for 129, give me a shout when you get rolling. thats, prima facie, good car, right color, great price.

^Good stuff.
I agree, Zenith is a color to kill for on the 993.
The car I have has factory sport seats with the painted backs, carbon fiber yada yada yada...all the usual. I'll be in touch when we get ready to move it. I have a line on 2 others, one is guards / blk and an arctic / lobster.
I was under the impression that the iris sloan car had some small odds and ends that diminished the value than the mileage would normally. I can't remember exactly, but if I'm not mistaken, the wheels had been excessively polished beyond the factory finish, which I've been told it's just about impossible to replicate now. I'm not 100% positive on that.
If we're talking about the same 40K mile car, I pushed my uncle to make an offer on it, but he dragged his feet too long. I thought it would go somewhere in the mid to low 70s at the time, since the 993TT mkt. hadn't quite ballooned yet and you could get normal TTs with less mileage in the 50s.
If I'm not mistaken, the Vesuvius car in london sold for 100 GBP. To my knowledge that's the highest price paid for a '97 Turbo S on the 2nd hand market.

sounds like you have a sweet car. i always wished my artic/blk had sport seats. i just dont get on a turbo S, or any really high performance car why anyone chooses anything other than sport seats. love painted backs.
fyi, the finish on the turbo S wheels is just a paint code. the myth about not being able to refinish them is just that. a myth. fable. but i've had protosport in butler NJ send out many of the wheels and have them finished just perfectly. i mean dead perfect. i bot a set of regualr 993 turbo twists and finished them in "turbo S" finish. you could not tell the difference between them and stock. its protosport in butler nj, great shop. jon and pauler are the owners, top notch. im sure they'd share the code or who they gave it to..infact i know they outsourced it. that zenith needed all 4 wheels done. was like $150 /wheel, no brainer.
that 40k miler i think was from arizona. thing needed some love. had a coffee stain on the headliner. to me that violates several rules of 993 TS ownership, on many levels...and end of day, you spend 10k to fix her up nice, you have 40k mile 993TS that cost you 85, 90k. i'd rather have a 5k mile non-S turbo.
regards,

Are we not talking about a limited run car? Am I looking at the wrong vehicle?
Are we not looking at the following Porsche Turbo S?
“During the second to the last year of production of the 993 (1997), Porsche offered the 993 Turbo S. Ultimately 183 cars were sold. The Turbo S is a high-spec Turbo including a power upgrade to 424 hp (SAE) for the American market and to 450 hp (DIN) in other markets. The inclusion of extras including carbonfibre decoration in the interior makes it different from the earlier lightweight, spartan 964 Turbo S. The 993 Turbo S is recognized by yellow brake calipers, a slightly larger rear wing, a 4-pipe exhaust and air scoops behind the doors. This was the last of the air-cooled Turbos. 12 Turbo S cars were delivered to Australia.
The information pertaining to production numbers of the 993 Turbo S - only relate to the US/NA market. If you include the ROW (rest of the world) market, then the number of 993 Turbo S produced is greater than the 183 units listed here. It is also worth noting that the 993 Turbo and 993 Turbo S were still produced for ROW market - from 08/97 to around 04/98 - being a 1998 Model Year vehicle”
I thought this would be going for $150ish…

^What it comes down to is shitty global economy makes cars that are anything but spectacular, sink. The spectacular cars are in collectors hands, and not necessarily enthusiasts. The less-than-spectacular cars end up with people who are looking for a deal and think they can turn a project into a spectacular car. It's just not going to happen. Savvy buyers know which cars are where and what they have gone through. At ~180 cars, the TurboS isn't exactly rare like say a pre-war Benz or Ferrari Lusso. There are always multiple cars available.
My advice: If you want a TurboS to drive, find the best deal you can on a car that has a few issues and live with it. If you're looking for something to take out once a month and want to see a return on your investment, wait, research, shop, research some more, buy smart and sit tight.
My take: That 600-mile car that spg has is going to break $1/4 million within the next 3 to 4 years (if not sooner), the 40K mile coffee-stain car won't be over a hundred for years to come. Everything in between should be treated on a case-by-case basis.
Opinions expressed are mine, YMMV and as always, caveat emptor.
