Anyone own a 912?

I love these things at the moment... there's a mint one driving round my way and its got me thinking...

can pick up a fairly mint one for about £12k, seems like a pretty good idea.

anyone got any experiences?

912s are beautiful but I would pay more for a 911. The v4 is not as valuable but a beautiful car regardless.

I have two '67s. They are cool little cars. They're certainly not as quick as the 911, but they actually handle better without that huge honkin' 6 cylinder hanging out over the tail. They're cheap to purchase, fun to drive and very simple to fix. If you're looking for one, look closely for rust. These cars were not galvanized and they can be rusty pigs. They rust everywhere, but pay particular attention to the floors, rockers and especially the front trunk/battery box area. Good luck in your search.

Here's one I'm doing a ground-up on. It doesn't present well, but if you take a good look, it has zero structural rust...practically unheard of on this coast.
