the new porsche museum in stuttgart, germany was originally scheduled to be finished this month,
however the official date has been set for january 28, 2009. the building is designed by the vienna-based
delugan meissl architects and will have 5,600 sq. m of exhibition space. inside the museum will be an
array of exhibitions including 80 cars from the famous manufacturer. in addition to a rotating array of
car-related exhibits the museum will house workshops, a gift shop, the porsche archive as well as
a restaurant and café. the museum is located across the street the porsche world headquarters in the

then again each person has their own opinion.

Why the heck are the car manufacturers designing their museums like this?
Doesn't look good at all, and no doubt there will be some bullshit rationale behind the design that the architect used to justify his existence.

the big three premium german brands are trying to outdo each other. At the end of the day its all about the cars that are in them, wouldn't care if it looked like a barn.
Although the BMW one is amazing, flame surfacing in a building...brilliant.

+1 I'd love to see it
I agree with your first point..... however flame surfacing and the Bangle era amount to the dark ages in BMW's history IMO
