German Autofest pics/writeup
Here are my German Autofest pics. The venue was dead relative to other years, but it's always fun to head out and have a chat with the vendors and put some faces with the names in the industry. I had a decent time, but World Class Motoring sure has their work cut out for them if they want to bring it back to its former glory. Onto the pics...

Cool red tach.

Absolutely stunning color combo and interior spec on this 997TT minus those floormats.

Nice Carrera 3.2 with RUF wheels

Cobalt on black 996 GT3 with PCCBs and yellow deviated stitching (pics didn't come out well shooting through the glass)

Bill Kelley's RS replica sitting pretty on Fikse wheels

This GT3 was AWESOME, just the way I would do it up if I had one.

Early 911S registry was out representing

Murdered out GT3

Wayne Dempsey of pelicanparts brought out his 959. This is not your typical garage queen 959, it was rode hard and put away wet. Wayne's slowly bringing her back though and since it ain't perfect, he drives it everywhere.

Some cool 356s with tons of patina

I cruised through the small literature hall and came across some cool stuff

Hmm, what have we got here

That silhouette in the bottom right corner looks familiar

959 repair manual! Freakin sweet, now all I have to do is buy the car and I'll be set.

1/8th scale 917 model

Wheelin and dealin is the name of the game in the lit section

Lots of factory brochures

My favorite Porsche poster of all-time, the arena red 993TT "Kills Bugs Fast"

Along the lines of the poster, I spotted this arena red on grey 993TT over in the for sale corral.

A very nice early 911S targa with sport seats and A/C

Nice 993TT with Kinesis wheels...

Hmm, what's that little piece of paper resting on the hood say?

Cool 993-look cab with a hodge podge of parts made to look like a TurboS I suppose

The TRE Motorsports / GTS Classics seats booth.

Looks like we know where Terry English got a lot of those cool parts for his 911R replica

And that's a wrap. Attendance was dismal, but the event wasn't a failure. The boys at World Class have a long road ahead of them, lets see if they can make it happen big next year.
Oh yeah, and check out what I came-up on on the way home!

Hi Connor,
Yes I'm in Los Angeles, the show was in Ventura county, about 45 minutes north of L.A.
If you're talking about the grey S, that was what I was driving today actually. It belongs to my friend Chris and he's trying to sell it, so I took it to the show to get some exposure. Original owner California car purchased new from Beverly Hills Porsche.
