After a few weeks off, the grid moves to Shanghai for the Chinese GP! With McLaren looking strong and a number of other teams like Red Bull, Mercedes, Lotus, and Ferrari all looking strong, we ought to see some fierce competition on track this weekend.

My prediction: Massa will crap out of the points yet again. Hamilton will get pole. Hard to say who will win since McLaren always find a way to **** up the pit stop for Hami.

Apparently it is going to be a wet weekend so Ferrari could be in with a chance again for a good result for at least The Nose, I don't know about Massa atm.
I hoping for another good result from Webber, and another below par effort by Vettel..

Wonk wonk. Opens it up for the other guys, esp. with the forecasted early wet conditions. It'd be nice to see:

Practice 1 just finished. Nothing significant to report really, different teams doing different things to gather as much data as they can. Some teams were also trying to figure out what to do with the wetter conditions, shuffling between the slicks and inters.
Hamilton did pull a last minute banzai flying lap and was 1s faster than any car on the grid, but no one else was really trying so really meaningless.
Massa still looks like a fish out of water out there, and almost drove the car off into the gravel because of the slight wet conditions.
