well you tell me why every team has the step nose design and they don't. Does McLaren have a hidden secret, because if Brawn and Newey adopted it, then I can't see McLaren having any advantage.

Yes Lewis said they are just a a drink company with a lot of money, but they got the right person - Newey. That's because Newey wanted a challenge and bring a team that was mid field to the top.

The rules changed about the height of the front nose, Macca already were below this hight limit last year so their nose from last years car pretty much carried over... All the other teams pretty much had to step the nose to get the height down.. Nothing to do with some secret just purely rule driven..
