Chump change if you have any kind of background a group of investors would take seriously. Shit economy or no, it's not that hard to raise money for what amounts to a sure thing with global exposure.

If it were important enough to Austin it would have happened. Obviously one 3 day weekend wasn't.

Surely the U.S can successfully orchestrate such an event on schedule considering that Korea and India have successfully done so.
I haven't read too much into the details, but if it involves funding problems, then I blame George Bush for putting America in the shit economic position it's in at the moment.
