The stacking; but I also am assuming that the safety car is multiple-lap where the second car could go around and enter the pit as the first car pulls out..... Hmmm.... Thinking of it now that wouldn't be helpful either.

Well majority are two car teams so they share one pit stall, so team mates can't pit at the same time.. Also you don't want to have to do another whole lap under the safety car as it is over 6km long so you lose more time travelling around the track slowly than just waiting in pit land for the other pit stop to finish (25sec at most).

It doesn't take long to clear the car ( especially from there ), so if they stack, they can still race around to catch up with the pack and minimise the lost track position.

The Giz #9 (as he will be on form in the wet) or Frosty in #4 (because he is due for some good luck at bathurst for once) but it is still way too early to guess who is going to have a "ticket to the end game" when we get down to 25 to go
