Ford Falcon, which is not based on your mustang chassis it is the last to be designed here when Ford swap to global platform sharing..
But in reality both chassis in the race share little with their road going cousins due to the rules..

Yep. The cars are basically space frames with different bodywork, not as extreme as the DTM cars, but nothing like they were even a few years ago.
