From BBC:

"Sebastian Vettel may have a second world title to win this weekend but the Red Bull driver has still taken time to engage with his Japanese hosts. During his media interviews, Vettel showed off a splendid accent when Fuji TV host Kaz Kawai persuaded him to discuss the mighty 130R corner in Japanese, with a little help from a script. Vettel will also race in a new helmet bearing the message 'kizuna' which means 'bond of friendship' as a mark of respect to the thousands who died in the Japanese earthquake and tsunami in March. McLaren driver Jenson Button will also wear a special helmet which he plans to auction to raise for a Japanese charity after the weekend."

I heard a statistic somewhere that said out of the 24 races here (or in Japan in general, not sure) 12 drivers championships have been crowned. And this race there will probably be a 13th.

Nah it is the left hand swepper at the end of the back straight, just before Casio Chicane.

My understanding is that the DRS automatically closes when you first hit your brakes after it is deployed.

Is that everyone else's understanding?

Yeah that's right, but you can also manually close it if you want

F1 2011 the game taught me that!

McLaren had a nice session.

Never looked like Vettel pushed it much.

Lots of tinkering with the Ferraris.
