I also noticed the characters being very cartoonish.

 

Don't get me wrong, the graphics are great.

But the driver's hands still don't move when you shift and his head still does not react to the G-Forces well.

These are little changes that I hoped they would make.

I am still pretty happy with it.

 

Can't wait to get it.

These are just initial impression nitpicks.

You know how you do with all new games.

It is much more accessible than 2010. You can jump right in with time trials, etc. - no needs to create a character.

This will be the best racing game out until Forza.

 

I've been yearning for an F1 game for a long time. It amazes me how F1 2011 is the only one.

 

I believe that Codemasters bought the exclusive rights.

That is never a good thing for video games.

Look at what happened to MLB games after 2K bought the exclusive third party rights.

The only decent one is The Show which is a Sony product.

 

Just noticed a GAMESPOT review is already out for the XBOX 360 version.

2K is terrible. I remember playing it a couple years ago and I hit what appeared to be a home run. The center fielder ran to the wall, proceeded to go through it, and caught the ball. Never touched a baseball game since. Have you played F1 Championship Edition for PS3? It's made by Sony. I believe it was a launch title so it's relatively old. I love it and still play it. It's a bit arcadey but it's a blast to play.

^ Absolutely! It was one of the firs PS3 games that I ever bought and I still have it.

It has a cult following. I sold my son's copy on Ebay the other day for $40!!

 

Wow! I honestly can't get enough of it. I love the older driver lineups too.
