^ I think that they were looking for any tiny advantage they could get.

The few ounces they saved in weight might have made the difference.

It was a calculated risk.

^ It sure did.

And I am glad that the stewards saw all of that as a pure racing incident.

Mark Webber will have some 'splaining to do . . .

Very exciting finish!

I hate Ferrari but Alonso was the best today. Ferrari's pit-stops are incredible.

After the smoke clears, Vettel still has a strangle-hold on things.
gotta say amazing race from hamilton.. pitty for the fuel thing... last 2 corners were amazing... cant remeber a finish like that..

but why do you hate ferrari????

i was also impressed by the pits of ferrari.. changing tires in 3.1 second for 3 or 4 times in a row just happens at red bull..

I could never imagine that alonso would win by such a big lead... when he was doing those laps 1.5seconds faster than vettel i thought he was going to do a pit more... it was just amazing... I was so happy it made my day... and its nice when 6 pilots fight like that...

pitty for button... i cant understand why they didnt tighten up a tire..

^^^^ In terms of Button. I think Mr. Lollipop got a little excited and released Button before everyone signaled with their hands they were finished.

Yes, the lollipop man supposedly saw the front right man move his arm a bit and mistakenly assumed it was because he was finished.

It looked like the airgun failed and they tossed in another but the lollipop man just saw it as the wheel already being attached. It's hard to say what happened exactly in those 3 seconds.

Plenty of fails in the pits today. Whoever was released into pit traffic and took out part of Virgin's pit station (Kobayashi?), that was ridiculous as well.

And, the jack problem for Vettel ultimately cost him the race imo.

That being said, Ferrari did an excellent job. I'm very happy to see Alonso on top of the podium.

Alonso would have eventually overtaken Vettel even without the pit-stop problem.

Webber is a strong guy. I admire him.

I hate Ferrari because . . . Um . . . Well, you have to hate somebody!! Ha Ha!
