We need to get you out on the track sometime... you are welcome to come out to the track with me, but I'll warn you right now, it's highly addictive. HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!

I can hook upto four cameras into my Video MUX, but I will need to change to a different setting for split screens. It has a lot of options, I am using the Quad Pro 2 system from Race Optics. Race Optics Helmet, In-Car, Motorcycle Camera Systems
Thanks for the link Jim

I am thinking to get a kit my self for the Nurburgring and Bahrain next. What do you think of the kit and if you want to change what would you get???

That is a great idea... I still have my stock wheels that I could swap out to and just need to pick up some sticky tires so I won't have my drag stance going on.

I'd definitely be interested! Whether it be spectating, riding along, scoping out all the rides, or driving. Please keep me posted.

I think I need to set this one up a little better and I might like it alot. Many of the systems seem to use similar components, the lipstick cams are all Sony, the DVR is a Toshiba unit that has 30gb hard drive in it and also records to a SD memory stick. It's best to record to the memory stick and transfer to the hard disk should it become full during the track day/weekend. I think I need a better mic. and position for it. Several diffenent companies make the video MUX and put them in different cases, I really can't compare I have only seen the one used with this system.

I don't think these systems are easily moved from car to car with a multiple camera setup, I think you need a good (custom) installation and get every thing setup so you can just turn it on and go. I may install a few more cameras. Let me live with it a bit more and watch how my videos improve and I will comment more later.

It should be fun but first go and checkout it out and then me and Jim will give you the laundry list on what you should do to your car for track days
