Biased, maybe, but I think the British have some fabulous looking racers over the years...

1966 Jaguar XJ13 7.0L V12 most likely one of the nicest car never to race LeMans, only 1 prototype was ever built, someone offered 7million pounds back in 66 and the owners turned it down
