That seems a bit extreme.

If they are going be racing near a legitimate radiation affected area then his fears are warranted. Not wanting to go expose oneself to harm and voicing his concern over the matter seems reasonable enough to me.

I think Lorenzo is the one who is really pushing for the cancellation. Apparently he watched a movie about Chernobyl recently...
