Set up a UK proxy for a few bucks a month. The feed is in sync with SPEED, if not a few seconds faster. Better commentary, NO COMMERCIALS, better pre-race and post-race, etc etc.

 

There's a couple of places online to stream it. I'll give you a link during the next race.

 

Expat Shield and get the stream from the BBC website has worked for some. Another option is Sport On Demand Live Sports Streams Online For Free which has been reliable so far this season..

 

All of the bootleg options are hit and miss.

The only sure way to always get BBC on your computer is to pay for the proxy service.

I think that SPEED needs a more recent driver to do commentary. Hobbs just doesn't really understand modern F1.

Also, they are not actually at the races so they have no access. They only see what we see. It is kind of like watching it with some F1 buddies who just happen to know a lot about the sport.

The BBC guys are actually there and have field reporters in the pits to get real time updates from the teams.

SPEED can't compete with that.

FOX needs to pony up and raise their game.

that was a fantastic race! best race of the season so far, yes I do argree that the speed crew is done and needs an overhaul, I'm thankful that TSN here in canada shows the BBC Coverage with Brundle, Coulthard and the boys

 

Ok when I get home I will figure out what all this proxy business is. Even the pay services, is it legal? Also, is there a way to record them?

I just downloaded the BBC feed in 1080p last night and I'm looking forward to rewatching the race all over again tonight.
