Yea... no. I can't for the life of me see how that is a career advancing decision at all?

I think NASCAR is where f1 drivers go to experience what "passing another car" feels like.

With any other guy this would be a shock. But not for Kimi.

This guy has never done anything by the book.

He is acting like he doesn't need F1.

Does he? He's made his millions, won his WDC, etc. He never seemed impressed by the F1 circus the way others (including ME!) are ... he wants to drive fast and play richboy. Good on him!

I agree. More power to him.

But his little tiff with Renault hurt his pride. That was uncharacteristic.

Remember, Ferrari paid Kimi almost $45 million over two years NOT TO RACE.

He has had a very unconventional career.

This should come as no surprise.

I'll wait for him to say it and not for a website to say it.

Remember when Renault said they'd asked him to drive for press?
