That looked like fun, I've often considered getting a Radical.

 

A Radical is a lot of fun and fast my other choice would be the Caterham its fun to build it yourself and you can drive on the street as well

 

A regular ole Sunday drive, eh?

 

I love to get one. Its just that every time i see one at the track it has some issues or another and isn't running.

Besides - I don't have the skills to go 9/10ths in a Radical.

 

That car goes like stink! He must have been averaging about 200km/h on the track! The new M5 averages 170 if I remember correctly.
I love how the driver adjusts his visor or seatbelt when going flat out in 5th and 6th gear on the tight, bumpy straights

Radical Sportscars - Ten Years On - 1997-2007

 

Went there earlier but I didn't find so much information about the cars except a few paragraphs. Did find the owner's manual though, and you know it's a track tool when this list equals turning the key on a sports car:

Starting Procedure

1. Always start the engine with a laptop connected to the ECU so that all engine parameters can be monitored during warm-up.

2. Check oil is visible in oil tank (aluminium casting between engine and gearbox). Check water level, turn on electric water pump (if fitted) to check that the system is free of air (2nd switch from right, next to ignition switch). Actual oil level does not matter at this point, because an amount of oil has drained back into the engine – this returns to the tank when the engine is
started.

3. Crank engine to get oil pressure with ignition coils disconnected.

4. Connect coils and turn ignition on. Start engine with no throttle, let engine idle at
approximately 2,000-3,000rpm. Check oil pressure is at 60psi minimum.

5. When engine water temperature reaches 50°C, rev engine several times to over 6,000rpm
and turn off.

6. Immediately check oil level, it must be 250mm ± 10mm from the top of the filler neck.

 

Its not that bad we have one in Bahrain it runs ok it has the hayabusa motor very simple.
What you have listed its sounds like an F1 car

 

The SR8 is the most extreme so I guess it's a more complicated engine.
