This sucks so bad, but it seems immanent. They just talk about the money taxpayers have to pay but surely local hotels and restaurants love the weekend as it brings in tourists.

It's bit off topic, but I personally don't think the Korean GP has been a good idea. I can't imagine the race attracting more spectators than any other race, unless Korea has a huge F1 fan base which I am not aware of.

 

Oh yeah, is Melbourne the only race which losses millions of dollars, or do all the other ones lose money as well?
