Made a lot of progress with the car today. Got the wing remounted in a sturdier postion, redid the hood pins, painted it, got some wiring done, put the headlights back in, mounted the Sparco Pro2000 and harnesses, and a few other odds and ends. Nick is taking it on its maiden voyage tomorrow for an alignment. Less than a week til race day!

















The eventual plan is to paint the car with John Player Special livery. It'll be all black with gold decals and accents. Should be wicked.

It looks more or less like a proper car with headlights installed again. We'll need to take them out for Road America and they'll be getting HIDs for the 24 Hr race at Iowa.

Just picked up the vinyl numbers and sponsorship logos for the side of the car today. They'll go on tomorrow right before we load up the car onto the trailer and make our way to Road America.

I can't believe it but my racing odyssey is about to begin!
