MINI: Mobil 1 tri-synthetic extended mileage, which is the old formula containing boron, vs. the new non "extended mileage" which is the new stuff sans boron.
911: Kendall GT 20W50 organic. Can't run synthetic now, although if I ever rebuild it, I will break-in with organic and then switch over to the man-made stuff. Kendall has also switched up their formula recently, and I will be switching to Brad Penn oil at my next change. This new Brad Penn stuff is recommended by most top independent shops for the older air-cooled cars, it's a little different than the Kendall and it's green in color.

Don't laugh....but I use Mobil 1 in my Dodge RAM HEMI. I figure with the amount of driving I do, why not the best. Also, I've put the K&N oil filter which claims doesn't need to be replaced, but what do you guys think. Should I get rid of it and go back to the factory oil filter?

I use the Saab recommended Mobil-1 in my 9-5 Aero and Elf (www.ElfRacing.com) synthetics fluids (oil, differential, brake fluid, etc.) in my Radical SR3 track car. Wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee (Yes, it has the Hemi) get's whatever the dealer uses.
