265k for a new GT3 Cup (which you keep) and 135k for everything else which I agree to be pricey, what it like in the States for a turn-key GT3 series?

 

Cups are about $215k ready to race new with fuel cell.
You said your's was insured? It's about $8k a weekend if you buy insurance. 5 years of racing I had one bad wreck.......Shoulda bought it that weekend

It's about $15-22k per race depending on location for transport, mechanics and tires for a weekend. Plus personal expenses. So we are close in costs. Hell you spend more than that on watches easy.

You get more out of racing and you get a fancy suit!
