Senna Going to Lotus?

Senna, who entered F1 this season with Hispania Racing, has not had the best of debuts, although that's largely down to the team's inability and not his own.

The Brazilian, however, could be in for a better campaign next year with reports from his native Brazil claiming he will switch to Lotus, the best of the 2010 newcomers.

According to Globo Esporte, sources close to Senna, the nephew of the late Ayrton Senna, insist that "talks are already well advanced."

The report went on to say that Senna would replace Jarno Trulli, partnering Heikki Kovalainen in Lotus's second season in F1.

I can't imagine that this is a "merit" promotion - has Bruno been quick at all this year, even compared to his teammates?

He's faster than his teammate but still one of the slowest on the grid. I think he's going to Lotus because the Senna name carries more cash with it in terms of sponsorship money.

Maybe ... was he notably faster than his teammate, though?

Usually 5-10 sec a race, iirc. Still noticeably slower than damn near everyone else though.

He was usually faster in the race if his damn car didn't keep breaking down. He was mostly faster in quali. He was only really noticeably slower than everyone else because this is one of, if not the worst F1 car to date.

Well, we'll see soon enough, it seems.

Ayrton once said "If you think I'm good, just wait till you see my nephew Bruno"

So hopefully he'll show his true talent soon?
