The 'bahn opened April 1st for the season, but I managed to make it out for the first time this season today. Tried out my new race car, the orange spec Miata. Put in 53 laps today, perfect weather. Certainly not like the GT3, but fun to drive none the less... you drive these cars 10 tenths, all out, such a momentum car. Great day, after wearing myself out on the track I hung out at my new garage trackside, sat on the deck and watched cars racing with some friends and enjoyed a few cold ones.

 

Sounds like a great time. I'm sure it's been a long few months waiting to get the Miata on the track for the first time.

 

It's has been a long wait... man, I have to remember how to race/drive again... it's been too long!
