The land was purchased a while back, and the various permissions already approved. The guy behind it (Tavo) has been planning this for over a decade. I suspect that a lot of things are going to happen very quickly in the next 6 months.

After USF1, I'm a little gun-shy about F1 in the states, but I think we've really only seen the tip of the iceberg in terms of what's already been handled. I do wish they weren't so fvcking cagey about releasing information and answering questions.

I'm actually even more excited about having an F1-caliber track within driving distance than going to watch the races there.
