Hypocrisy is one of the words most frequently named in F1 lately.
What I'm trying to make with the videos above is that all teams act by team orders.
You say that Massa was faster and I say that's not true. Alonso was fastest in Germany as being over the whole season.
So far Ferrari had not acted in favor of the faster but since last GP only one pilot in the team could get the championship, Alonso and this is despite all the actions that have unfairly fallen on him this year, I suspect because the FIA prefer an English winner .... and believe me we are not all English.
If have to win a British driver ok but without support from the FIA please.

 

^^^Alonso was faster but not fast enough to pass which is a big difference. The excuse of Vettel approaching was negated by Massa staying in front even though he was driving uninspired at that point. Alonso has repeatedly f'd up at the start of races this year, why should Massa have to blow such a masterful start and consistent performance? Furthermore, if you look at the standings Massa would've moved up a position in the WDC with those extra points while Alonso would've remained static in the standings. So tell me, how much did Ferrari really gain?

 

^^^ differences between cars of the same team should be small by definition, Ferrari opted not to take risks in overtaking between teammates. Alonso at the German GP lost in Q3 the pole when leaving pit box behind Massa and lost the first position at the start due to the illegally maneuver of Vettel, as shown in the picture

 

i really don't care to get the hard facts but I recall a jump start one weekend accompanied by a lot of other slow starts...on his own. And i highly doubt Massa caused to loss of those .003 secs as its common for them to leave together but then build up a comfortable gap on their warm up lap. Massa held him up in quali as well, interesting...

Going back to your point about differences, you're basically saying that there wasn't enough of a difference between their performance for Alonso to get by on his own accord which opens the door to saying they're on the same level which gives Ferrari even less reason to choose favorites and give orders. To sum things up, at the end of this championship if Alonso doesn't win it will be because he cost himself more points than Massa ever supposedly did.

 

As far as I'm concerned, I would like to end this discussion, wishing luck to all and that the best driver win, FIA permitting
