Saw that happen as well...quite unfortunate as the #66 had been doing pretty well...at least on Saturday he was...

 

that's so typical of that Ferrari Challenge. Not surprising at all. $100-200k a weekend in parts off of the Ferrari truck is common. A couple of years ago at VIR over 1 million bucks in parts were sold.

Sorry to say Ego gets in the way of driving too much in that series. All of them are very wealthy and they don't care about the $35k small crashes like this one on the red car. They care about being faster than the other guy. It's taken the "gentleman" out of the gentleman racing it's supposed to be.
