Man, I remember when Button first pulled out on the slicks and we all thought he was insane! Then he proceeded to slide off the track at the very first corner and we all KNEW he was insane.

He really did a great job, after that first incident, of getting around the track and finding the dry line that allowed him to just reel everyone in and secure the win.

+1

Good to see Button get some redemption... I almost said "not a fan" as well; but what the F*&^ was Hamilton getting all over his crew for in the last few laps when he said, "Who's idea was it to change tires!". I lost a bit of respect for him there; I don't think he quite understands yet, not to bite the hand that feeds you.

Excellent race though

Remember Silverstone 2008 when Rubens started 16th but got on the right tires before everyone else and landed himself on the podium.

This has happened before.

I am happy for Button, but I don't see this as a sign that he is going to suddenly start to dominate races like he did at the start of last year.

Good for JB, he just keeps out of trouble and drives consistently. His gamble paid off.

I just wish Alonso did the same thing and pitted for slicks after his first turn spin.
