Still recovering from the absolute brutality that was The Australian Grand Prix.

What a race!

My fantasy team dropped but now as far as I thought.

I went from 15 to 20.

I guess the recap will have to include the top 20 players this week.

And - if I may say so - this was the second best banter thread ever.

Brazil 2008 will never be unseated as the eternal king of banter threads.

But this one set the record for most participants at one time - 27.

The posts were coming so fast and furiously that I could not keep up.

It was pure adrenaline all the way!

Thanks guys for making this a great race!!!

Sorry I missed the banter guys, not only was I not at my home Grand Prix but my mum was in town and I had to go on a picnic with her!

Saw the race when I got home, absolutely brilliant from an entertainment perspective. I really think after Alonso's early spin, he should have taken an early gamble with slicks sooner.

And I think maybe Lewis is human after all.

Bring on Malaysia!

I thoroughly enjoyed the race last night. Couldn't be on the banter thread, because I was watching from bed (with wireless headphones) and the wife was mad enough that I had the TV on until almost 4am, so typing furiously during the race would have been too much.

From a fantasy standpoint, my race was over in lap 1, turn one, with Alonso spinning and Schumi losing his front wing. My only bright spot was Vettel... until his day ended. This race was SO much better than Bahrain, and it was definitely worth staying up almost the entire night. Sorry I missed the banter!

I just watched the race now and went through the thread, wow, I'm out of words. I missed both a great Race and good banter here.

why can't every race be like this!

Might just be media spin, but it would be very cool if it eventuated. Whincup can wheel a car through just about anything.

Whincup is amazing and I hope he gets a chance in F1, he was fastest in every session in Bahrain and he was a very clean driver (if such thing exists is Super V8).

Edit- out of rep!
