Formula Ford is Australia's gateway to F1, open wheeler racing with similar rule stylings to F1. You basically go from go-karts, to Formula Ford - then go and get in as much racing in anything that has wheels and an engine across in Europe - then try to crack into the big one.

Coverage of this motorsport is terrible, we have one, two hour show on TV each Sunday for all of Australia's motorsport. Shocking really.

 

I'm rooting for Webber too. He looks fast this weekend and he's always been one of my favorite drivers on the basis of being an all-around nice guy.

Apparently one of our V8 Supercar drivers was so impressive in his 'fun drive' of Lewis Hamilton's car he has been invited to a serious test drive day with the team.

Might just be media spin, but it would be very cool if it eventuated. Whincup can wheel a car through just about anything.
