Attention Fantasy F1 Participants: Important Rule Changes From Last Year
In order to be sure that there is a level playing field, I want to draw everyone's attention to some significant rule changes in the Fantasy Racers game.
It has to do with the points that may be earned - or lost - through qualifying and the maximum number of drivers you may have on your team.
Last year, only the pole sitter was awarded bonus points and no points were ever taken away for a bad qualifying session.
This year, there is a schedule of points awarded to every qualifying position.
Most importantly, if your driver does not make it out of Q1, you lose 5 points.
Check it out:
Also, you can only add up to 6 drivers maxiumum this season.
Many were frustrated last year because people who manipulated their budgets properly could add as many drivers as they wanted. The overall Fantasy Racers winner had 9 drivers at the end of the year. That will not
Make of it what you will.
I just wanted to be sure that everyone - especially those who played last year - were aware of these changes.

These rule changes make the addition of a front-runner much more lucrative.
-5 points won't kill you. But it could add up for sure.
Also, you lose a lot of potential points if you get eliminated in Q1.
