Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso set the early pace on day two of Formula One’s final test in Barcelona, Spain - but Williams's Nico Hulkenberg has just gone fastest than the the local hero/
Most of the teams taking part today are running on low fuel to prepare qualifying set-ups. Teams are also taking advantage of the dry weather, something which hasn’t been a regular feature of the year’s previous tests.
Hulkenburg currently leads from Alonso and Saubers’ Pedro de la Rosa. Other drivers taking part include Mercedes’ Michael Schumacher and Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel.
Virgin is back on track today with Timo Glock after his team mate Lucas di Grassi damaged the team’s car yesterday. Jarno Trulli is running for Lotus – the two aforementioned teams are the only ones of F1’s new quartet to take part in the pre season testing following the continued absence of both Campos Meta and US F1.

Yes. But it is just wrong for Erich (Over_Under) to root for Alonso....
We have had a brotherhood of despise for Fern that has lasted years!
Now it is slowly crumbling . . . .
Just how you secretly rooted for Kimi all of those years!
Oh the betrayal . . . .

Don't worry, Dana. No matter what I've said in the past about Alonso looking fast, I've got you back with Hamilton! He's just been playing coy in testing so far.

When you say years, do you mean since all the crap that happened in 07 or before that?
If before 07, why?
